>> Attempt to scope him using your x-ray vision

X-RAY VISION isn't one of your ABILITIES!

>> "Thank you. So, how long you been in the world domination industry?"

Ha ha! Nice, you have a sense of humor; that's great in an employee. I'd say we've been attempting to dominate the world microchip market since late June 2009. I have, anyway; I was one of the first ones to work at Resandeve. Other people kind of come and go.

>> Throw bucket at him
>> Shoot first, ask questions later.

He's being strangely coordial and helpful, unlike MARTY back in BURAM VILLAGE who was just plain scared to death of you. For the time being, you decide not to blow your cover or upset the man.

>> Be polite, introduce yourself and ask for his name.

You introduce yourself as JIMMY IMAGE.

Well, it's nice to meet you, Jimmy! My name is Jeffrey, though everyone just calls me Jeff.

>> Play along for now.
>> Ask for the fifty-cent tour.

Certainly, I'd love to show you around.

You go through the door marked ENTRANCE.

The Resandeve Complex is broken up into two parts; Research and Development. This is the Research section, where you'll be working.

In the RESEARCH SECTION are many COMPUTER DESKS, which actually stretches out for quite a ways; there are probably around 15 or 20 of them in here. Most of the desks are empty, but a few have some EMPLOYEES sitting at them, working away. Some of them turn and wave. There is a HOLE in the WALL to the far left which apparently needs to another room, but it is very small. A door on the right is labeled BREAK ROOM, and JEFF takes you there next.

And this is the Break Room. You've got your normal stuff in here; fridge, microwave, sink, etc. I'm sure you know how working in an office-type environment goes by now, heh. That door leads to the Development section, but really you have no need to go in there. It's just some machinery and other employees. We have a shared Break Room.

Any questions?

>> Ask strange guy where your locker is

We don't have any special lockers at Resandeve, so I suppose your Managerial Locker on Apex's 24th floor will have to do. You can move between Resandeve and Apex freely, of course.

>> Ask him about Trent

Hmm, I don't think I personally know anyone named Trent, sorry. There's certainly no Trent working here.

>> Ask him where to pick-up a uniform.

We don't have any uniforms or special work outfits. To be honest, most people are typically worried about having to wear a special outfit, heh!

>> Ask him what he'd like you to do

JEFF pulls out a piece of REFINED JAITIA and shows it to you.

Ever seen something like this? It's called Jaitia. The purpose of our work here at Resandeve is to find a way to make this peculiar gem-like rock work in a microchip processor. Mr. G--our CEO, you know--is fully convinced that implementing Jaitia in Apex's Microchips will allow computers to reach insane computing speeds the likes of which we've never seen before. Computational problems that otherwise would have taken years to run will complete in seconds! A Jaitia-enhanced microchip will allow Apex to completely corner the market. That's why our role here is so important, especially to the future of our company. Anyway, before you ask the technical specs, Mr. G says that the Jaitia requires a certain voltage to run correctly, but the power requirements and all that are being taken care of by Ms. de Vries's dataDyne Corporation. Our task is merely to find a way to hook everything up so that a piece of Jaitia is intermingled with the microchip and yet have the thing as a whole still run. This stuff is so brittle, though, it's not very easy. But you'll find that out yourself in time, eh?

To be completely frank with you, I'm glad you're here. I heard from Mr. G that we'd be receiving a new Apex manager to work with us today, but he really didn't give us any other details at all. I was afraid you'd have some sort of huge ego or something, heh.

>> Ask him if he's ever heard of Buram Village.

Ah, that's the area way beyond the red door, correct? I've never been down to the village myself, but I know the townsfolk there extract Jaitia from the mountain mines. The refinement and collection is managed by other managers; my job lies here at Resandeve.

You gain 19% LINGUISTICS EXPERIENCE for your chat with JEFF!

>> Use water in bucket by pouring it on yourself.
>> As you become cold, your natural color changes to mirror the strangers.

You dump the BUCKET OF WATER on yourself. Having taken it straight from the BURAM UNDERGROUND WELL, it's freezing cold!! Impressively, your natural color does change as you stand there shivering, but not very much; only by about 8% or so. Since you have an EMPTY BUCKET now, you put it back in the stack to equip your BUCKET MINING SANTA HELMET again.

>> Walk into the strangers silhouette so he thinks you're a ghost and he'll go on with his daily activities.
>> Follow him.
>> Gain new spell, ghost form.

It's quite clear that JEFF still knows you're there, and walking into his SILHOUETTE seems rather difficult.

Uh...you're...um...okay? That's kind of...odd, but I'm glad you at least didn't pour it out over the computers? I know Resandeve is a lot to take in, but you don't have to give yourself a "cold shower", so to speak, heh! Anyway, I'm, uh, going to go see how some of the other workers are doing. Make yourself at home; you can have any computer desk you want whenever you're ready to start working.

JEFF leaves the BREAK ROOM.

>> Gain Chimeran experience for the feat.

Nice try, but you'll have to either think harder or reach for the impossible to gain any CHIMERAN EXPERIENCE. You get no EXP for attempting to give yourself FROSTBITE.
