I wanted to comment on this but also insisted on maintaining a hands off approach. In my opinion the day ends when, and only when the host says it does. Unless they specifically say that it is "twilight" between the time the day ends and the time they post in the OP. Twilight being s time where you can continue to post but no votes will count and any daytime roles cannot be activated.

And I've heard and used the term bussing in almost every game here. :?:

Well sometimes you've just got to take the L and move on. I had fun it was a good game I just manoeuvred myself into a lose-lose situation last night. Should have killed paid and roleblocked frank. Then I might have had a fighting chance.

That was a bad beat but I'm not sure there was a whole lot I could do once it was just me left.

The combination of blocking Paidea and killing Frank was the best thing you could have done. But with the Bus Driver up my sleeve, there was no way for you to reliably succeed, since the Roleblocker at that point could've only been Mafia-aligned.
- If I'd have roleclaimed after a fake-claim from you, it'd be taken at face value; that would be too many village roles to be conceivable.
- If I'd not roleclaimed after no fake-claim, the prediction would be you roleblock Paidea again, or kill him... and with me seen as vanilla, I'd be free to swap Paidea for you and end it with a flashy night-suicide.
- Leaving Frank alive would've meant having to roleblock and kill him at the same time in the following night to avoid the JoaT kill against you. By swapping Frank with Sparky or Thr, Frank would be freed up to waylay you in the night.

That said, incredibly fun game. Sad to think we missed a perfect three-in-a-row lynch win because two villagers decided to play it safe and let a Mafia defend himself, but still. Definitely fun when it gets rolling early!

The game would have played out totally different had Aragorn been lynched Day One. There definitely would have been more credence to lynch Sparky, Spiro and Paid, for instance.
