A.) Minority Report Themed Mafia - The Godfather and his goons have killed...in the future! Stop them at all costs.

or

B.) Reverse Mafia - An idea I had a couple of days ago. It would go something like this:

>Start w/ 3 people.
>Instead of voting to lynch, you vote to revive, which would bring one more player into the game.
>There will be an equal amount of mafia/town UNLESS there is an odd # of players that sign up. Who is favored (gets the extra player), in that situation, is random but they will be VANILLA either way.
>The goal for the mafia is to have more players than the town at the end of the game.
>The goal for the town is to have more players than the mafia at the end of the game.
>The game ends by >50% voting to end the game OR if all players have been revived (a 50/50 goes to the mafia).
>You can only vote to end the game Day 4 and on.
>Mafia would only know who the revived mafia are, but they cannot communicate with each other.
>There would be two types of detectives.
>The 1st type, both Town AND Mafia would have one of...A detective that can investigate a person that hasn't been revived yet, to see their alignment. These would be 2 of the 3 starting players.
>The 2nd type of detective would be the one you all know. They investigate people in game. The town may possibly have one.
>There will be a list of all players posted at the beginning of Day 1.
>There will be a list of possible roles (that will exceed what is actually used) at the beginning of Day 1.
>Day and Night will be normal. All actions will be done at night.


That's the gist. I've got other things I don't want to reveal yet, but roles will balance out the 50/50 mafia/town ratio.

I'm in.... I'm rather confused by the second idea and think a setup where it'll take days for more players than the starting three to be able to participate, and not everyone is guaranteed to participate, is no good for activity.

The trend of Day 2 claiming is the main reason this mafia revival has had as active days as is I think. I can't see B going well. So I vote A.

B sounds interesting, but as a frequent Day 2 lynch I'd probably not get revived at all. It's an interesting concept, but I also feel like the mafia win the moment they break 50% just be constantly voting together and then eventually closing it down.

I'm not a big fan of playing in forum Mafia games anymore.

But Pyro and Jack are here, so sure.
