But I'm also thinking ahead, and getting 5 guitarists sending in the same part with different quality recordings can be very troubling, and can create in lamens terms, a cluster-f---. I'm not saying it wouldn't work but I think it would be easier if we organized different people on different songs, just a suggestion.

So that was everyone gets to record and the songs sound even.

That makes sense. It might be better to do several different styles of song if we're going to be splitting people up.

What if we went and did arrangements? Somebody play barre chords, somebody playing open (preferably on an acoustic) and maybe somebody playing barre chords but strumming full notes? I dunno, just a suggestion. It's what we used to do when we had 3 guitarists (4 when one of the singers felt she wanted a guitar in her hands) in one band I was in.
