Day one was brutal. Rain. Mud. Cold.
Mastodon was fantastic. NOFX was aight...not really a punk fan. The Offspring played Smash in full. It was a very cool thing to see. 'Bout to head in for Day 2. :) I'll keep ya updated.

Epic necro...

So uhhh, I've seen a few bands these last few years. I keep a word document of all the bands I've seen and it's getting a little ridiculous.

I have a fancy newborn baby on the way so I probably won't be seeing any shows for a minute but it was an awesome hobby while it lasted.

Bands I’ve seen…

Disturbed x2
Killswitch Engage x2
Chimaera
Lacuna Coil
Motley Crue x2
Godsmack
Chevelle x2
Drowning Pool x2
Theory of a Deadman x4
Hinder x2
Blackstone Cherry x2
The Veer Union
Halestorm
Shinedown x2
Staind x2
Charm City Devils
Pop Evil
Skid Row
Skillet x2
Papa Roach x2
Tesla
Filter
Hollywood Undead
Seether x3
Kid Rock x2
Guns and Roses
Avenged Sevenfold x3
Five Finger Death Punch
Slayer
Motorhead
Alter Bridge x2
Black Label Society
Mastodon x2
Bring me the Horizon
Pop Evil
Of Mice and Men
Adelita’s Way
Trivium x2
Suicidal Tendencies
Fuel
Thousand Foot Crutch
Rev Theory
Exodus
Metallica
Rob Zombie x2
Volbeat x3
Soundgarden
Amon Amarth
A Perfect Circle
Pierce the Veil
Opeth
Highly Suspect
Of Mice and men
Gojira
Every time I Die
Def Leppard
Korn
Tesla
The Pretty reckless
Sum 41
In Flames
In This Moment
Machine Gun Kelly
All That remains
Nothing More
I Prevail
Dinosaur pileup
The Offspring
Three Days Grace
Coheed and Cambria
Taking Back Sunday
Falling In reverse
Motionless in White
Beartooth
Fozzy
Fire from the Gods
Citizen Zero

Crowning achievement: I saw Soundgarden two weeks before Chris Cornell killed himself. Eerily lucky.
Favorite live performance: Disturbed, 2009.
Best visuals: Motley Crue, Dr Feelgood anniversary tour, 2009.
Greatest Sound/closest to studio sound: Three Days Grace, 2017, honorable mention Five Finger Death Punch 2015

Here's my update. Pickings are a little slimmer in Tucson, so not much activity.

White Stripes x2
Raconteurs
Dead Weather x3
Beck x3
MGMT x2
Flaming Lips x3
Barenaked Ladies x2
Portugal The Man x2
RHCP
Incubus
Spoon

On my want to see list is Jack White (it's been too long) and Tame Impala.

This is impressive!!
I'm quite envious of a bunch of these!

Garth Brooks was in Calgary on the 2nd. That was quite fun to go!
It was also the first concert I've been to at the Saddle Dome
