Yuki, you seriously have to be kidding me. Everything in the first post refers to fakes as edited screenshots of the game. I suppose I trusted too much in villagers having enough common since to assume the competition is specifically for RuneScape fakes. I'll certainly be sure to give an entire definition on what the term 'fake' means come next year, though it's sad that I would even have to do such a thing.

As for all material in the game belonging to Jagex, you're right about that. But see, a fake is adding material into a screenshot of the game that isn't really there. Making these edits is indeed 'work', and that work put into the fake belongs to the fakemaker. By saying that all work must be the entrant's, I mean the edits must be done by the entrant.

It amazes me how you would go through the trouble of over-analyzing all of this with total lack of common sense. :-s

Notes on Entry: well, I know the picture isn't 100% good, (the text above the Giants head is too high, for example)
but since it's for entertainment I dont think it'll matter

I did it with paint (lol) and had to edit 2 others out of the picture as its crowded at the hill giants

did allot more but meh, I only wanted to mention this, lol

Okay, guys! The .net server is back up! We can finally continue the competition!

I've decided to give you all one more week to get your entries in due to all of the chaos, but, come April 7th, all entries MUST be in! A week long judging period will take place for our hand-picked judges to rate your fakes, and the winners will be announced on April 14th.

Again, I apologies for being over a month off schedule, but please bare with us. The final drawing for 1m will take place on April 14th aswell.

Notes on Entry: In this week's update, Jagex released new spells for all three spellbooks in Runescape! While I show off my interesting new Lunar Spells (ID High Leveled Herb, Make Plank, Pickpocket Group), my friend Omega decides to show off the new Teleother spells for the normal spelllist. (Thanks to Omega BTW for helping.) This fake was especially fun to make for the new spell icons (which were tricky to rearrange into new rows.

) At least I pride myself on getting all the lettering correct. ^_^;

I would have gone for Realism, but although I made several many pixelated changes, I didn't do anything extreme. So this is mainly for creativity.

(You said making a new quest would be creative, so I settled on spells!

Well, no matter! The cutoff date is today - Thanks to everyone who has entered!

This next week will be dedicated to letting the judges judge all of your fakes. (I'm giving it a week incase they get busy with anything - they won't feel rushed.)

Just one more week until the winners are announced!

A note to the judges (Who I have already picked :wink:

) - I'll get the judging information PMed to you, at latest, by tonight.

rab really needs to update the entry list though. ^_^;

I was expecting to see better fakes, i'm a little dissapointed, this ompared to what we have seen last year. If a last year entry would be entered here that entry would surely have won without a doubt.

My personal favourite is the RS poker
The Pokemon came real close, but the poker is just to original
