Well, when you're in the lower lvls yes, it's recommended, but it's rare to see a maxed out pure with one defence. As you get higher in lvls you will usually get defence lvls.

That's where initiate pures, rune pures, or even barrows pures come in.

Don't protect item, it's useless and it screams "I can't afford to lose"

Don't PK nonskulled, unless somebody attacks you non-skull, don't fight non skulled. Always try to skull, it also lures people to attack you, then when you crush them, they're sorry.

If you're losing, don't run, they'll chase you, and you'll do no damage. It's best to stay and fight. You have a much better chance of winning trying to hit him then trying to run. Even if you lose, at least you tried, and you probably had a great chance . But, don't let the odds get to you, if he's 3/4 health, and you're 1/2 health, you always have the chance of hitting a few 25s on him with your long special.

Congrats, you now have honor, one of the best things to have while PKing.

I feel that section is utterly useless

^then don't comment on it. This was written a long time ago and most PKers actually did follow the honour code. I am planning to write a f2p pking guide because this is that old it isn't even funny anymore. Would anyone else be interested in writing a p2p pking guide or staking guide? We need a PKing bible also including the new testiment

Meh, help me with mine guide, kai? I got already most of it done. Only the f2p part aint good yet

And the p2p one needs some edit work yet.
