Well, my dad died last april, and I currently apply a lifetime of horticulture experience towards growing plants that are still looked upon poorly by antiquated social mores for money following an unemployment-related mental breakdown a couple years ago where I permanently decided that society can go
itself to death.At least I've gotten this far in life without being sectioned. Also I built a new computer last year, so I've got that going for me.

Oh that's so awesome! Congratulations on getting a coveted position at Google! What do you do now? When we go to San Francisco (or near there) in a near-future family trip, we'll definitely have to meet up!
I work in the Payments division. Can't really talk about my projects since one's not released yet and the other is permanently confidential, but the former integrates with Google Chrome, which has something like 1 billion users. The chance to impact (however small) the world on such a scale is just incredible.

Decided to log in and take a nostalgia trip down memory lane. Great to see a lot of familiar faces/usernames. HUGE thanks to Jaron for keeping the forums alive.
Not sure how long it's been since I've logged in but it says my last post was in 2012.
I see Applequest/Allen checking the boards just about everyday. So long story short, we moved from Toronto to Tucson at the end of 2011, bought a house and got a cat in 2012, and just started a family and moved into a new and bigger house last year. How has everyone been doing?
