Considering it would take 26 years for your 100,000 a year job to finally pass your 60,000 a year job on total money earned? And that's not even counting paying back those likely massive ten-year-built loans you'd have to take to afford a decade of college that comes with somehow doing no work in the process. Adding that one's math in (which I likely both oversimplified and miscalculated) as bumping up the time needed to 33 years to pass the $60,000 counterpart... GEE I WONDER.

If you were able to work, even just for $30,000 a year, during the schooltime I'd pick that route. But as it stands, $60,000 a year is fairly comfortable to live on (especially with a partner who also works, which could damn well make it $100,000 total), pays off quickly, and is good enough to be a practical long term goal as well.

Which is more important to catch your interest? Mystery and intrigue, or very apparent / forward appeal?

My car isn't going to solve global warming when third world countries have coal plants pumping out the most disgusting pollutants there are. I'll stick with picking my mode of transportation (hey, it gets 24 mpg on 93, 16 on E85).

Would you rather go to school for 10 years to have a $100k a year job, or not go to school and make $60k a year? You aren't working during school and must pay ALL your own tuition.

You can worry about Global warming but I think Choosing your transportation is more important.
You can't affect Global warming but you can change your vehicle

Having a job to call a career. Unless your hobbies are free, you're going to need money.

I think our first post needs a little more detail that this is supposed to be a continuing change of questions.

The first Mario. Until platformers hit the world, almost every game was an Atari-class shooter. Nintendo introduced far more options.

Which is more important between having a job you can call a career, and having a good way to spend time not at work?
