Change to rule 303 (which presumably passed despite the question mark on the first page?)
Current Rule 303 wrote:
Rule 303: Any player not proposing a rule-change during their allotted time period (as stated in rule 202) gains a strike. Any player not submitting a vote (or abstention from voting) to the judge within the alloted time period (as stated in rule 212) gains a strike.
Any player who has gained three strikes immediately loses the game and takes no further turns nor participates in any votes, discussions, or judgments. Players who have lost the game can no longer post in the topic.
Once per game, a player may take a leave of absence. Taking a leave of absence excuses a player for 1 complete circuit starting from the turn they took the leave. Players on leave cannot gain strikes. A player on leave may rejoin the game during any turn prior to their leave ending, but upon rejoining, their leave of absence ends, even if 1 complete circuit has not been made.

If a player wishes to take a second leave of absence, they must request this in the game thread, with unanimous consent amongst the players required.
Also, the first page is terribly confusing. Amendments (successful or failed) haven't been added and the whole this is one god awful mess. Since rules are the chief weapons we have in this game, it's not good.Statistics: Posted by Tweedy — January 12th, 2010, 9:30 am
