The moon slowly trundled into sight from its hiding spot behind a cloud. The lunar light shone down onto the roofs of the Village. Young villagers ran to and fro across the streets. Laughter, footsteps and knocking could be heard over the faint sound of a creature wailing.
A door creaked open, an old lady shuffling into sight.
“TRICK OR TREAT!”A group of teenagers shouted, holding out their bags expecting a shower of candied goods.
“My my, don’t you kids look scary!” The woman said, smiling down at them as she slowly reached for a bowl of sweets.
“We aren’t kids!” Replied The123King, dressed up as a King.
“Well then, I guess you adults won’t want any of my sweets.” The elderly lady said, smiling softly.
“We are kids! Ignore him, he is just dressed up as a Royal Pain in the Bum and likes to act the part!” Another person said.
“Well, what are you dressed as? A murderous doctor?” The woman asked him, dropping sweets in their bags.
“What do you mean? These are my normal clothes; I just forgot to get a costume.” Doctor Henry replied.
“So why is there blood on your white coat?” She asked nervously.
Doctor Henry stood there, thinking, before ushering his friends away and saying,
“We better move on! There are plenty of other houses to ‘Trick o’ treat’.”
As the small group quickly moved away from the worried lady, Donut Juice stumbled and fell flat on his face, dropping his bag of sweets. His friends picked him up, and handed him his bag, before Gamestar asked him,
“Donut...Why DID you choose this costume? It isn’t scary and just makes you look stupid.”
Donut looked close to tears,
“Well, it is a cup of Donut Juice... I thought it would be good because of my name...” He said, before running home.
“Well done Gamestar, you upset Donut. It isn’t as if YOUR costume is any better.” Xxpk said, pointing at the Yellow Star Suit surrounding Gamestar’s body.
Gamestar didn’t reply to the Penguin as the group soldiered onto the next house.
The garden was pitch-black, although they could make out the door by a faint glowing green mist, which shrouded the front porch. Nervously, they pushed Goten forwards, expecting him to knock on the door for them. They believed that his Cavalier would protect him from whatever evil was inside. They slowly drew closer, until the time was upon Goten to raise his arm and strike it down on the door of doom. He did so thrice, and then the door opened.
“GASP!” The group exclaimed in unison.
